I grew up in Houston, Texas and knew from a very young age that all I wanted to do was design. Growing up in a large city gave me access to many different art forms and allowed me to find my passion.

 

I believe that fashion is an opportunity to showcase who we are and present to the world how we want to be perceived. People often say "it's not brain surgery" when talking about design, but I feel that in many ways it is just as important. This industry allows for intense revenue and booms to the economy, while encouraging individuals to partake in a trillion dollar industry in a very personal way, daily.

I went to university at a state school with a distinguished Design, Housing, and Merchandising program which allowed me to have both a very well-rounded and full education while specializing in fashion design and production. I believe this has given me the basis of an incredible career and allows me to thrive in many different environments.
